BreweryWaiheke Island's unique micro-brewery, nestled amongst the vines at Wild on Waiheke is must visit venue whilst on Waiheke Island originally named Baroona after the iconic Baroona ferry, the Waiheke Island Brewery now features a new range of crafted beers, including Ginger Beer, all made on site by our Brewer, Alan Knight. Waiheke Brewery won GOLD at the 2008 NZ international beer awards. We look forward to welcoming you to our brewery for a tasting.

Our master brewer is Alan Knight, Alan's involvement with the Waiheke Brewery began when he was asked to visit for half a day to do an assessment of the newly arrived brewing equipment. One look at the island was all it took to convince him that this was where he wanted to be based from that point on. When he's not busy in the brewery making beer, he's out sharing his knowledge and wit in tutored beer tasting presentations and Evenings of Scotch Whiskey. |
