Getting here is easy! We're in the heart of Waiheke Island’s beautiful wineries, and there's even a busstop right at our gate! Simply grab the No.1 bus from outside the Matiatia ferry terminal, and holler when you reach our gate.
When you've finished chilling with us, there's plenty around to do as well. Right next door to Stonyridge & Te Motu Vineyards (why not make a tasting trio out of it) you get to visit all three at the one handy busstop. We're also just a few minutes down the road from the spectacular Onetangi Beach. Also adjacent to us is the Waiheke Golf Club, the Onetangi Sports Park, and if you're feeling 'fit' why not take advantage of our Waiheke Walkways and head up Putiki O Kahu, the volcano directly overlooking our site. Here you can walk through some dramatic Māori history where there were significant pā (fortified villages) at Rangihoua Putiki-o-kahu, the sacred hill at the sports park, and Whakanewha. A bloody battle in 1821 led to Waiheke being abandoned until Ngāti Paoa returned in the 1830s. To find out more head just down the road to our dinky little museum which is full of Waiheke's history.
We love our little island, and hope you get to enjoy it just as much as we do!
Our beautiful spot's located on Waiheke Island, just 35 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland, or 45 minutes from Halfmoon Bay by car and passenger ferry. If you're lucky enough to have a boat, then there's plenty of moorings, and even a helipad on our front lawn if you've a special occasion.
